Throughout your marketing you need to make sure that you are keeping your brand message consistent.  The way you keep that message consistent is by using your client pain points to speak to them.

What does that look like?

For example, if your ideal clients are overwhelmed, starved for time, and don’t know who to trust for their vacation planning — make sure you address those three issues on your website, blog, social media postings, emails, and direct mail.

By reliably addressing their pain points, they will know what to expect from you. Your ideal clients will know that you get what they’re going through.

Plus, a consistent message will make it much easier for you to come up with blog posts and social media postings. You will never have to sit there, staring blankly at the computer screen and wondering what to post. Knowing them — and being committed to serving them expertly in their struggles —  keeps your work and focus clear.

To get started making that messaging super-consistent, try this simple exercise:

Sit down, and write those three pain points in three separate columns on a piece of paper. Under each column, write all the topics that address that pain point.

After you do this simple little exercise, you will have a bunch of ideas for content to fill your editorial calendar and your website!
