All of us have the same 24 hours each day.

What we do with those 24 hours matters. It matters a lot. It dictates the quality of our lives.

Are you ready to master your time and increase the quality of your life?

VIDEO TRANSCRIPT

Do you ever wish you could freeze time – stop the whole world, but you can keep moving and get caught up on everything, then unfreeze time. Your whole to-do list, DONE. Every project you ever wanted to do, DONE. Hours and hours of restful sleep, DONE. A smokin’ hot body from hours and hours of workouts, DONE.

Truth be told, this has been my go-to fantasy for as long as I can remember.

While we may not be able to control time, we can become masters of the 24 hours we have each and every day. Time is the one level playing field. No matter who you are, if you’re living here on planet earth, you have 24 hours everyday. Oprah, Richard Branson, a homeless person, a travel expert that books over a million a year in travel and has four kids in sports and sits on three boards.

24 hours, no more, no less.

What we do with those 24 hours matters. It matters a lot. It dictates the quality of over lives.

Whether you have a bricks and mortar travel agency, or you’re a full time home based travel business, or you’re a part time travel agent working from home, your success depends on how well you manage your time.

Are you ready to master your time and increase the quality of your life?

I’ve got three tips for you on 10Xing your productivity.

Tip #1: Follow the 90/90/1 rule. For the next 90 days, spend the first 90 minutes of every day on 1 thing that will make the biggest impact in your business. Many of us start our workday and spend our most productive hours on the least important tasks in our business. Instead schedule a recurring meeting with yourself for the first 90 minutes of every workday to focus on the most impactful thing you can do in your travel business.

Tip #2: Stop multi-tasking. Seriously. Studies show that when you attempt multitasking, in that moment your IQ drops by at least 10 points. The same amount as smoking pot. So multitasking kills your productivity just as much as smoking pot all day.

Tip #3: Batch your work. If you’re constantly switching gears going from a client call to research to doing a marketing activity and so on – you’re wasting a lot of time and draining your energy. Batch your work. Schedule your client calls on certain days during specific time blocks. Schedule your marketing activities during specific time blocks. Schedule your trip research. This way you can sit down and focus on one specific activity or project at a time, do it quickly and do it well. Then take a short break and move on to the next batch of work to focus on.

Whether you have a traditional travel agency, a home based travel business, or are a part time travel agent working from home, these three tips will help you master your time which will increase your quality of life. If you’re in the Travel Expert Marketing Academy, in Module 4 we give you several more highly effective strategies along with helpful resources.
